SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATIONS
DUE: MAY 1ST 2025
Scholarship Information:
The BCDEA is offering scholarships to its members’ students, in order to support dance education in British Columbia. Students may apply for scholarships on the basis of either performance or choreography. Note that any student applying for scholarships needs to be sponsored by their school dance teacher, who must be a current member of the BCDEA. If a student has received a BCDEA scholarship in the past, they are no longer eligible.

Scholarship money may be applied to summer dance programs or class card
-
Scholarship money may be applied by a graduating student to tuition in a dance program at an accredited post-secondary institution or at an approved pre-professional training program
Awards will be paid only upon proof of registration in and/or payment for the specified program. This requirement will be clarified with each individual scholarship winner. The scholarship, up to $500, will be granted based on the total cost of the program.
